Features and Tips for the Arabic Keyboard
Basic Input (Transliteration)
You can type directly by using the keys on your keyboard that correspond to the sounds of the Arabic letters (e.g., type b for ب, a for ا).
- For emphatic letters, use the capital letter:
H → ح | S → ص | D → ض | T → ط
After typing a letter, add a symbol to insert a diacritic:
- Vowels: =a for Fatha (َ ) | =i for Kasra (ِ ) | =u for Damma (ُ )
- Others: =w for Shadda (ّ ) | =o for Sukun (ْ )
- Click on the Shift icon on the virtual keyboard to reveal diacritics and alternative symbols.
